The Indian government has issued a warning for the users of Google Chrome users. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) has found some vulnerabilities in google chrome. The CERT-In says that Google Chrome could be exploited by cybercriminals to execute the arbitrary code on the users’ system.

According to the government advisory, if you are failing to update the latest version of Google Chrome hikes the possibility of the computer being remotely hacked by the online attackers, and the sensitive, personal information may be leaked. Google acknowledged that the latest Chrome update includes 22 security fixes, many of which were highlighted by “external researchers”.

  3.  Next, click on ‘About Chrome’ in settings. 
  4. Click Update Google Chrome. (Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version.)
  5. Then click the Relaunch button in Google Chrome. It will reopen after closing for a while.
